GET TO KNOW ME♥

I first picked up a proper camera when I was thirteen. It was a Canon 60D, gifted to my family from a friend (the same camera I use today!). I would wander around the pasture and take photos of things I found pretty or artistic. Now at twenty-three, I've been taking photos for ten years and working as an amateur photographer on and off for five of those years.

In that time, I have gone from an uninstructed (yet enthusiastic) thirteen year old to someone who is confident and experienced. Through high school, I took photography classes--it was both a fun way to pass time and the teachers taught me many skills that I still employ today!

Besides photography, my passions include working with horses, making music with family, and caring for animals. I have been around horses my whole life and I love nothing more than to spend time with Jimber, my 2004 one-eyed Connemara (his Instagram handle is @thepiratepony_!) and my feline accomplices, Lara Gene and Mipha.

Since graduating from Olds College in February 2021, I work as an RVT at an equine veterinary practice and absolutely love my job!

My favourite photos to take are horse & rider portraits, competitions, and the quiet moments in God's creation. Currently, my goals are to further my personal style, become more established in the industry, and to continue capturing beautiful moments in your story!
